Foggy Morning II

I went out for another shot at some foggy morning pictures. These were from the field where I took the last pics. The trees still didn’t suit me, but these pics of dew on spider webs did. I’m fascinated with the unseen or unnoticed world around us, and here is a spider world that I haven’t thought much about.

This is small portion of a field of many acres, all covered in these webs. That makes me think there must be millions of spiders in here…

I changed the color temperature on this and loved how the blue came out. I’ll post an un-manipulated version in a few minutes.

This was the end of a soy bean stalk, about the size of a ping pong ball. I like how the world is upside down in the bigger droplets. Posted by Picasa

Natural Light Portraits

I took some pics today using natural light and no flash. These are the ones that came out best, especially considering that I didn’t check all the settings on the camera first…

Bill looks much more serious here than he did about a half a second later as he broke into a big smile.

A nice smile and profile

Mary and Tim were messing around in the kitchen as Tim pointed out the significant difference in their heights. I like the B&W; photo since Tim is always in the back of Mary’s mind. Posted by Picasa

Foggy shapes

Mary took a lot of delight in calling me early the other day to alert me to foggy conditions, per my request a while back. Here are some of the shots I got. Mostly they are about shapes, and not really what I had in mind. I think I need a foggy morning that is sunny..
