Korean and Vietnam War Memorials in Worcester Massachussetts

Woosta has some beautiful memorials. The Korean War (well, conflict anyways) Memorial is in the heart of downtown. The Vietnam Memorial is in Green Hill Park. Green Hill park is beautiful and has been there a long time. My uncle talked about how he used to ride the trolley along with the rest of his family to go there on Sundays.

Names of those killed in action in Vietnam
There are a number of benches to sit on near a small pond that is part of the Vietnam Memorial. Very nicely done park.

Later that same day… Holden, Worcester and Paxton Massachussetts

Pond Near Paxton, Massachusetts. Everything is not as it seems!
Perfect sunset on the pond ! 15 minutes before it was perfect like this. By the time I walked back to the pond from the party location, the sun was blocked by clouds. I hung out for 15 minutes till it cleared and got this. Perfect!

Loved the fallen tree pointing to the peninsula jutting out
More classic New England

Fall Morning, Pomfret Connecticut.

I got to spend some time at my cousin’s house in Pomfret, Connecticut last weekend for a party for her dad and his twin brother (my uncles). We got moving pretty early and she took me out to some photogenic places, including the Pomfret School.  Here are my impressions of the area on a beautiful fall morning.

Gargoyle on the Chapel in the morning sun. Love that golden light!

Loved the shapes and colors

This Church has been in this spot for almost 300 years. It was old when we became a country. Awesome
