Gotta love the drama of these big clouds that gathered before some storms that went through today. Generally,we have hazy hot and humid around here, without the big poofy clouds. When I saw we had them, I blew off dinner to get these photos. I think it was worth the trade!
I was out and about today hoping for some dramatic photos of the sky since there was a good sized front blowing through. I remembered these grain silos and hoped the clouds would be cool. I got there, did a few shots and then the owner’s rep came up and shooed me off. Since I had the shots I just smiled and left.
The farm is right on the flight path for Dover Air Force Base, and while I was there one of the C5s from the base came in for a landing. This is kind of what central Delaware is all about, the Base and agriculture. 
This photo is so close to what I’ve been “Seeing” in my head for a long time. I want this flag, lit from behind, with big white poofy clouds in a deep blue sky behind it. I want the flag pointing south so the Del-Tech sign isn’t prominent. Anyways, I was out earlier today, and saw that conditions might actually work the way I wanted, and when I was able to be there with a camera. So close. The wind was from the west and the light wasn’t perfect either, but I’ll get there one day!
