A colleague at work gave me a Kodak Tourist Camera from the late 40s. It is all manual, and a lot slower to use than a modern camera. You have to set the shutter speed, the aperture and the distance the subject is from the camera. Then you cock the shutter, look through a view finder that is a close approximation of what will be on the negative. The negative is 6×9 cm. It’s huge! I wasn’t sure if the camera would function, especially if the bellows on it was still light tight. No worries!
