It was early Sunday morning, well early for me. I decided while I was out and about to go into a wooded area to see what I could see. The dappled light was beautiful, and pulled me in

As I headed home, I saw this scene, which was a river of gold in a sea of triangles. All in all, a good morning of seeing!

What I didn’t see was over 200 chiggers and seed ticks (around 20) that latched on for a ride that morning. I still itch from the chiggers. Two weeks plus after the photos …
