More Holga Goodness in Mississippi, PIAP photos

I think my Holga photos have life in them. These are from the Pig in a Poke collection I shot in Mississippi and Memphis earlier this month.

There might be a corrollary to the always shoot single trees rule. Always shoot cool old trucks too!

I'm not certain if this was a church or school in Rodney, MS. I liked the wave of green cascading down the building. Nature will win.

This is the backside of the gas station in the next photo. I liked the red of the roof and the contrast with the green.

I liked the blue trim and the three openings in the door. Inside there was a blue recliner, but that's a story for another day

Delta Deluge, on film

This mansion was built on top of the Indian mound back in the mid 1800s. The Church is just a few hundred yards from the mansion.

Water is integral to the Mississippi delta. From the rain or from the river. It’s part of the timeless water cycle. Long after these buildings are gone, the rains will continue to come.

These photos were done using a Leica camera and Tri-x film. A classic combination!
