I went to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond in January to see the Edward Hopper show there. It was a great show, in a beautiful museum! I’ve never been there before. It was definitely worth the 4 hours down and 4 hours back to see the show and museum. I loved the Faberge Eggs there too.
After the main course, I came on the Sculptures directly adjacent to the Museum and had to do some photos.
The awesome sculpture “Chloe” by Jaume Plensa got about 2 rolls of film dedicated to it! One black and white and the other color. It was a beautiful day for photos!
I did a double exposure of the Plensa sculpture and the Man and Vegetation sculpture by Sandro Chia. I’m never sure what I’m going to get when I do a double exposure, but I liked this!
Cool double exposures, looks like a great trip.
Thanks! A change of scenery is a good thing!
Love them both Dave 🙂 Bravo 🙂 Love the meditative B&W. And the color is so dreamy! 🙂
Thank you Sheila! It was fun to try!
Love the double exposure. I have to rely on composites in PS. My digital camera (not DSLR) doesn’t have the function. Maybe I just don’t know how to go about it.
